Billo Barber (oops it's just billu) is a story of a small town Barber Billu.
Once the reigning suparstar comes to their village for a shooting.
And billo tells everybody about how they were best of friends once.
It's a Krishna- sudama tale of modern times.
and what happens is the crux of the story.Does the super duperstar recognise is friend who supported him in hard times?

* Akshay Kumar was originally offered the role of the movie star, but he refused because he did not find the film interesting enough.

* Tabu was offered the role of Bindiya, but refused because she did not want to work with Irrfan Khan.

* Amisha Patel agreed to play to role of Bindiya, but dropped out, because she did not find her character strong enough.

* Juhi Chawla was rumored to play the role of Bindiya after Tabu and Amisha did not accept the role.

* When Shahrukh Khan called Lara Dutta to offer a role in this movie, she originally believed it was for an international show. Upon hearing that she was being offered a role for one of his films, she readily agreed.
