Aamir gets Royal Invite

Aamir Khan, the perfectionist actor-director of bollywood who made his directorial debut with ‘Taare Zameen Par’, has been invited by Victoria, the Crown Princess of Sweden for a private dinner.
The Swedish Princess chose to invite Aamir Khan for the private dinner after she was impressed with his works like ‘Lagaan’ and ‘Taare Zameen Par.’ According to sources, after watching the film on the special children (Taare Zameen Par), the princess wanted to congratulate the perfectionist Khan personally, and so she decided to utilize her current visit to India for this purpose. The princess is currently in India for The Sweden India Noble Memorial Week 2008 celebrations.

One day while playing a tune Monty suddenly goes into a trance and gets visual flashes of a mansion, a temple and a beautiful girl. Later he collapses.

STORY

The plot of the film revolves around a call center and the people working in it. Shyam (Sharman Joshi) works in a call centre but is not satisfied with his career. He loves Priyanka (Gul Panag), who also works at the same place. But Shyam feels threatened that his girlfriend will ditch him for an NRI techno geek, and so is not happy in life.

Esha( Isha Koppikar) who works at the call centre during nights, is an aspiring model trying to get a break, but somehow always misses that. Then, there is Varun Malhotra (Sohail Khan), who loves to spend his time sleeping, rebelling, speeding with bikes and girls.

Radhika Jha (Amrita Arora), who spends her day time managing her mother-in-law and military uncle (Retd. Major Vijay Pratap Chauhan) too finds life at the call centre very demanding. Nonetheless, they are carrying on with their profession.

However, their world comes crashing down when boss Bakshi announces the decision of rightsizing the call centre. How they deal with the new situation and what happens afterwards at the call centre forms rest of the film.

Abhi Delays Ravan

Abhishek Bachchan, who is playing the lead in Mani Rathnam’s upcoming mega-budget film ‘Ravan’, has postponed the shooting for the time being. The shooting for the film was scheduled to start from 12th October in Kochi but due to critical condition of Big B, Abhishek did not report to the shooting site. Currently, he is attending on his father in the hospital and is not expected to move out of city till senior Bachchan’s health shows positive signs of improvement.
