Mallika Sherawat plays the character of a snake woman in the film and is required to express her emotions through her eyes and other means of body language. The reasoning of the director Jennifer Lynch was simple that as a snake Mallika Sherawat was not supposed to have the knowledge of words and sentences, which are essentially human discovery. As snakes have their own peculiar set of senses, Mallika will have to convey her sentiments and emotions through them and not with the help of words or sentences
